Paityn & Lainey

I had such a wonderful session with Paityn and Lainey... they are so full of energy! They loved showing me all around their yard while I snapped photo after photo! You can tell Lainey looks up to her big sister so much, she tried imitating every pose and every smile that her big sister gave me... I had a great time getting to know the girls and can't wait until next time!

Baby Aubrey

Baby Aubrey celebrates her one month birthday this week! She was so expressive with her hands for such a little baby; she was constantly moving them! She also started taking her pacifier for the first time during our session, which made photos a little tricky! I can only hope that she will use this to help mom and dad get more uninterrupted sleep! I can't wait until my next visit!

Corrigan Family Photos

The Corrigan's session was hot and humid but this didn't stop anyone from being super photogenic! Jake is a natural behind the camera and Hailey was so cooperative, she insisted on saying "cheese" for every picture. My favorites are the "secret" pictures that we take without mom and dad around... these two are always so sweet together! Enjoy the rest of the summer and Happy Birthday to Hailey and Jake!

Miller Boys

Visiting the Miller Boys in DC last week was truly an eye opening experience. After my recent visit with Team Eastman, I thought I was prepared for a week long visit with my best friend and her 3 month old twin boys... but photographing four babies for a few hours is nothing, compared to being mom to them! I have a new appreciation for the parents of multiples! In addition to assisting with feeding the boys every three hours, my favorite part was that each day provided a new opportunity for photos! I had such a wonderful time getting to know Will and Bruce and only wish that we lived closer! Until my next visit, here are my favorites!

Feet, Fingers, & Toes

Annabelle's mom knew just what she needed when we planned our mini session...all the tiny details of her sweet little one! I focused on capturing images of Annabelle's feet, fingers, and toes to fill frames in her nursery. I was leaving DC that afternoon, so we didn't have much time, but I look forward to having more time with Annabelle during my next visit! Until then...

Paisley

When I first met Paisley as a 6 month old puppy, I described her as "huge!" As she comes upon her second birthday this fall, Paisley has grown quite a bit, but I'm more likely to describe her as a Gentle Giant... This time she was so laid back and calm and was especially inquisitive about some bugs in the grass! Her cousin, Buddy says "hi"... its been a while since they've hung out together. I've added some old favorites of their first visit together...I am not sure they ever figured out who was "the boss!"

Barn Kittens

My friend, Manda, has been checking on these barn kittens since they were born several weeks ago... After hearing stories about them, I finally had the chance to see them during my visit to Tipton. They were pretty skittish, so catching them and the photos proved to be tricky!

Harrison Hams it Up

I came to visit during a big week in little Harrison's life! The family was getting ready to move into a new "old" house and his dad was starting his residency a few days later! I loved visiting with Harrison (his grin is contagious) and his mom and I can't wait to see what new projects they will create with their combination of ambition and creativity. Big changes are ahead for Harrison and his family!

Team Eastman Celebrates Summer

I was so excited to capture photos of Team Eastman as I traveled to Columbia a few weeks ago! The warm weather was in full effect and babies were on the loose!! Kristen does an incredible job of keeping her team on a schedule, so I was ready at 7:30am for our session right after breakfast, but before nap time, when I was promised a houseful of smiles! Caroline, Ellie, Wilson, and Luke have grown up so much since my December visit, they have such unique personalities that truly set them apart from the crowd. Congratulations again to Kristen and Stuart, raising four little ones all at once is awe inspiring!
