Annabelle's mom knew just what she needed when we planned our mini session...all the tiny details of her sweet little one! I focused on capturing images of Annabelle's feet, fingers, and toes to fill frames in her nursery. I was leaving DC that afternoon, so we didn't have much time, but I look forward to having more time with Annabelle during my next visit! Until then...
When I first met Paisley as a 6 month old puppy, I described her as "huge!" As she comes upon her second birthday this fall, Paisley has grown quite a bit, but I'm more likely to describe her as a Gentle Giant... This time she was so laid back and calm and was especially inquisitive about some bugs in the grass! Her cousin, Buddy says "hi"... its been a while since they've hung out together. I've added some old favorites of their first visit together...I am not sure they ever figured out who was "the boss!"
My friend, Manda, has been checking on these barn kittens since they were born several weeks ago... After hearing stories about them, I finally had the chance to see them during my visit to Tipton. They were pretty skittish, so catching them and the photos proved to be tricky!
I came to visit during a big week in little Harrison's life! The family was getting ready to move into a new "old" house and his dad was starting his residency a few days later! I loved visiting with Harrison (his grin is contagious) and his mom and I can't wait to see what new projects they will create with their combination of ambition and creativity. Big changes are ahead for Harrison and his family!
I was so excited to capture photos of Team Eastman as I traveled to Columbia a few weeks ago! The warm weather was in full effect and babies were on the loose!! Kristen does an incredible job of keeping her team on a schedule, so I was ready at 7:30am for our session right after breakfast, but before nap time, when I was promised a houseful of smiles! Caroline, Ellie, Wilson, and Luke have grown up so much since my December visit, they have such unique personalities that truly set them apart from the crowd. Congratulations again to Kristen and Stuart, raising four little ones all at once is awe inspiring!
Andrew and Adam met up with me last week to take their birthday photos! Andrew is so sweet with his younger brother, I can already tell that they are going to be great pals... Adam just needs to be a little more mobile! During our session, the boys enjoyed watching the river, playing in the grass and exploring the playground. By the end it was hard to tell who was more tired... me or the boys!!
Carter celebrated his 2nd Birthday with a visit to the Windy City to stay with us! We went to the Shedd Aquarium, Navy Pier, and spent lots of time playing with tools and vehicles and exploring outside. We were thoroughly exhausted by the end of the weekend... being two means being BUSY!
We celebrated Skye's first Holy Communion with a photo session at a few favorite locations. Skye and her younger sister, Eden, were natural models as we explored the woods, water, and church grounds last Saturday morning. Enjoy a few favorites, these girls are gorgeous!
Baby Isaac was born on April 30th at 10:41 am. He weighed 8lbs and 9 oz and is getting adjusted to being the littlest member of his family! Everyone is doing well and looking forward to having Isaac at home, especially his big sister Natalia! Keep checking for new photos of Isaac in the coming weeks!
Nicolas had quite the celebration last weekend! He was baptized into the Catholic church surrounded by friends and family from near and far. I was able to capture photos before, during, and after the baptism, including the family reception afterward. Nico was quite the trooper through the day's events, it was a long day for such a little guy! I just added a few of Nico's portraits in the beautiful suit from his Godmother!
The Harris family was a joy to photograph. We did our portraits in anticipation of the upcoming birth of their first son, Isaac. Natalia was a great helper during our shoot, as she checked out my digital images, helped rearrange the backdrop, and posed with her mom. She is definitely going to be a great big sister when her little brother arrives. I can't wait to photograph him and the new family in the coming weeks! Until then... here are a few favorites!
